I am pleased to announce a brand new customised figure that I have made; TMNT Boba Fett.
The figure combines two things that I love, which are Star Wars and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Over a year ago I had the idea of customising one of spare TMNT figures into the legendary bounty Hunter Boba Fett, whom needless to say is one of my favourite characters from the Star Wars universe.
Due to other projects, home decorating, holidaying, and lots of other excuses, I have finally gotten round to making it.
I am very pleased with the final result. Initially I was going to repaint the whole body to match the Boba Fett grey boiler suit, but I thought that would only really work if the turtle figure had been cast wearing a suit of sorts in the first place. Therefore I decided to keep the flesh colour green, and instead set about repainting the shell to match Boba’s armour. Then it was a case of seeing what Boba Fett essentials could sensibly be attached to the turtle figure.
